While the frogs nap and the glitter settles, things have been anything but quiet behind the scenes at The Sarcastic CareCats.
We’re currently deep in the muck, crafting collaborations with other channels, stirring up new magic, and laying down the mossy foundations of what’s next. If you caught the handpan short featuring Celesta’s hauntingly beautiful performance… consider that a soft whisper of what’s still to come. (Yes, it gave us chills too.)
November saw the release of our Movember Trilogy, a raw, emotionally charged series about masks, silence, and the courage to begin again. And while the swamp doesn’t celebrate holidays in the normal way, we’re already knee-deep in glitter and existential wreaths as we prepare for our very own Swampy Winter Special.
Oh and the chorus of frogs has asked us to mention: We’re still growing! More than 26k of you have already found us!
That means we’re actively looking for new team members to join our muddy little revolution. There are already some exciting conversations happening in the shadows… but if you’ve got skills, heart, and a tolerance for emotional glitterstorms, there’s probably a mossy seat for you at the campfire.

The weather changed, our joints protested, our plans shapeshifted but somehow,
you all showed up and pushed us past 20K subscribers.
That’s more than the population of our founder’s hometown.
Let that sink in. No seriously. Let it drown in swamp fog.

We’re building like feral CareCats on espresso.
Here’s what’s brewing in our bubbling cauldron of creative chaos:

📓 Workbooks are multiplying - and almost ready for the shop (PDFs first, then print).

Starting October 1st, the swamp gets spooky.
Don’t expect regular uploads.
Don’t expect a normal schedule.
Just do not expect normal at all, period.
We’re taking this month to lean into the bizarre, the playful, and the haunted parts of being human.
Think: horror shorts, weird rituals and cats in questionable costumes.
(Sparklehoof might commit fashion crimes. Again.)

There’s a lot happening under the moss: our little swamp team is expanding, our skills are growing, and every video we create is better, braver, and more alive than the last.
We’re recording more real swamp soundscapes than ever. From birds gossiping beside old castle walls to what it really sounds like standing twenty feet from a beehive, and of course, late-night frog choirs you’ll only hear if you wander deep enough.
Behind the scenes, we’re also building something bigger: soon, every CareCat™ will have its own AI companion right here on the website (and one day, in our very own app). Until then, we keep experimenting. Adding more instruments, crafting richer music, and pushing our editing magic to make sure the Swamp feels more real, more comforting, and more delightfully strange with every visit.

Swampfulness is mindfulness with a sarcastic wink. A gentle escape into the Swamp Forest where nothing needs fixing, frogs quietly judge your overthinking, and the moss forgives what you can’t.
Each episode is guided by a different CareCat™ (this time it’s Catatonic) and drifts through original music and ambient swamp sounds, with soft affirmations popping up like unexpected lily pads of hope.

While the CareCats rage, dissociate and sparkle on screen. We’ve been quietly building something way bigger (and somehow multilingual) in the background:
✨ The website is now available in English, Dutch, German, French, Spanish, and Italian, because existential absurdity knows no borders.
📖 We launched a Dutch YouTube channel with:
~ Audiobooks without voice-acting (just calm narration)
~ Dutch sleep stories to gently collapse to
~ New episodes of Swampfulness (guided moss meditation, now with 80% less screaming)
💤 Voice-acting stays exclusive to the English channel (for now), but our swamp is officially going global.
